palmpod hangs when syncing calendar

I'm using Palm Desktop 4.1.4 and the lastest beta palmpod on an XP machine. When I select notes, tasks, contacts, the sync works fine. When I select calendar, the product looks like it's starting, but the progress bar is empty and the cursor moves around. I've let it go twice now, once for an hour, and the second time for 2 hours. Evenutally I just have to kill the process. I've used palm calendar for several years now, so I have a large amount of information going back about 6 years, and then the birthdays go back to the late 60's... I have repeating, non-repeating, exceptions to the repeating, categories, you name it, I've used that feature in Calendar. Any help would be most appreciated!

thanks for your post. I've not encountered this before. It looks like PalmPod doesn't like something in your calendar. I don't think that the amout of entries you have is affecting things, since palmpod only exports calendar entries from a certain time period (3 months in the past to 18 months into the future). The trick here would be finding which event PalmPod doesn't like.

I've got a new release coming out in several days, which has some diagnostic functions in it, as well as some bug fixes. Perhaps that might fix things.
