PalmPod Options

This is the main PalmPod options screen, commonly referred to as the PalmPod "General Options" page.

Conduits
Here, you can tell PalmPod which conduits you would like to have exported to your iPod. In this example, PalmPod is set to export Calendar, Contact, and Task entries, but will ignore all Memos.

iPod Drive Letter
In addition, this example instructs PalmPod to use the E:\ drive as the drive that the iPod is located under. If you aren't sure what drive letter your iPod is using, it will most likely be the last drive letter that shows up in "My Computer".

Note: If the iPod is not showing up as a drive in "My Computer" when it is plugged in, make sure that "Enable Disk Use" is checked in your iTunes Preferences under "Edit->Preferences->iPod->General" in the iTunes software, [As of Version 4.7.1.30].

Updated Note: This location has been moved to "Edit->Preferences->iPod->Music" as of iTunes 6 [Version 6.0.1.3]

Daylight Savings Time
PalmPod also handles Daylight Savings Time automatically for you. Most users will not need to worry about this, and can use PalmPod with its default DST settings. However, if you travel frequently with your iPod, it might be worthwhile to view the content under "Time Help" in PalmPod General options tab.

Next, let's see how you can customize what PalmPod does with each conduit's data.
